NFL Week 5 same game parlay (+734 odds): Denver Broncos vs Pittsburgh Steelers

Najee Harris Steelers

A lot of people are going to say the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers’ game is a dud but I don’t know. We’ll find out when they get together Sunday at 1pm ET on FOX. If i had to guess though, I’d say it’s going to be a decent game. With Vic Fangio crying after the game last week because the Baltimore Ravens ran a play instead of kneeling, we at least have entertainment value. But at the end of the day, there is only 1 way that is guaranteed to add entertainment value and that is to get down on this one. Here is a same game parlay that is sure to help with that.

Najee Harris Under 57.5 rushing yards (-111)

Javonte Williams Under 42.5 rushing yards (+142)

Ben Roethlisberger under 250.5 passing yards (-111)

Parlay odds: +734

Najee Harris Under 57.5 rushing yards (-111)

It’s kind of crazy to even see this number hanging by Harris’ name because he’s only done this once in his pro career and it was last week against the Green Bay Packers. They have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL and Harris could only muster 62 yards. That’s crazy. This week he’ll be going against one of the best run defenses in the NFL and the Steelers could even be chasing points. If that happens he may not even see more than 14 carries. Najee going under 57.5 yards rushing this week seems pretty likely.

Javonte Williams Over 50+ rushing yards (+142)

I am a fan of Javonte Williams and betting against the Steelers’ run defense could be a mistake but I’m doing it. This kid is a tank and if you saw that run against the Ravens last week then you know what I mean. He is an absolute beast that deserves more carries. He’ll have tough sledding given it’s the Steelers’ run defense he’s going against but there are reasons to think he’ll be fine. First off, he’s a beast and second, the Steelers have given this total up to 3 different backs already this season. I don’t think people realize how little 50+ yards can be when guys are getting 10+ carries. If the Broncos go up, Williams will see elevated attempts. If that happens, 50+ yards will happen.

Ben Roethlisberger under 250.5 passing yards (-111)

I think Big Ben is washed. He can’t complete a pass in a clean pocket at this point and the stats back that up. He’s currently 30th in clean-pocket completion percentage. It’s horrible. Now he gets to go against 1 of the best pass defenses in the NFL in the Denver Broncos. Not a good spot. People are going to say that Lamar Jackson threw for over 300 yards against this Broncos’ defense and they’re right. But the Steelers will play Big Ben a lot different than they played Lamar. They held Zach Wilson and Trevor Lawrence to under 200 passing yards in consecutive weeks. That could easily happen this week to Big Ben.
