After a holiday on Monday with early games, we‘re back with 9 more games tonight. Several teams are trying to make a stretch run towards a playoff spot and individual players are adding to their resume before the trade deadline. Certain skaters in the trade rumor discussions are even beginning to be missing from practices, which can sometimes make it difficult to trust teams to win games. However, we’re here to analyze each matchup and we’ve pieced together 3 plays for an incredible potential payout for you below.

Along with our NHL mega parlay, be sure to check out all of our NHL picks for today’s action.

Toronto Maple Leafs 3-way ML (+105) over Buffalo Sabres

Two of the NHL’s most electric teams face off in Buffalo tonight. The Maple Leafs have been full of star power for a while with Auston Matthews, William Nylander, Mitch Marner and captain John Tavares. That’s why they’re a favorite to come out of the Eastern Conference every year. However, their downfall has always been their goaltending in the postseason.

That’s been much improved this season, as they’re borderline top 5 in terms of goals allowed per game. They’re going to need that to come through with the way the Sabres offense has looked this season. It certainly did when these teams met earlier this year, which was a 5-2 Leafs win. Even if Toronto’s defense isn’t quite as dominant, the Sabres have allowed the 5th-most goals since the start of 2023. Look for a big night from Nylander to lead the Leafs to a win.

Nashville Predators -1.5 (+150) over Vancouver Canucks

Another 30 minutes after our first play is the puck drop in Nashville. That’s one of the most difficult places to play, and we’re backing the Preds at home tonight. They need a strong stretch run if they want to get into the postseason again this season. Nashville is coming off a loss to the Minnesota Wild, but that was on the second leg of a back-to-back and on the road. The first game of that back-to-back was against the Florida Panthers, and the Preds smacked them 7-3.

They can do that same against the Canucks team that has had terrible goaltending all season. Vancouver has allowed the most goals per game since the start of the new year (4.4 per game) and are one of just two teams allowing more than 4 goals per game in that time span. The Preds may be even more capable of capitalizing on that weakness with the likelihood that Filip Forsberg is able to return for this matchup. Even if he doesn’t, Roman Josi and Matt Duchene can still lead the way with the Canucks also allowing the 2nd-most goals on the road this year.

Vegas Golden Knights -1.5 (-115) over Chicago Blackhawks

There was consideration to back the Edmonton Oilers for our final play, but with the Philadelphia Flyers saving goaltender Carter Hart for them, we’re going to switch gears to another Pacific Division team. The Golden Knights are riding a 5-game winning streak and there’s no reason that shouldn’t become 6 tonight. They’re facing a Chicago Blackhawks team riding high after winning back-to-back games themselves.

However, they’re still arguably the worst team in the NHL. Patrick Kane notched a hat-trick on Sunday night, but that only increased the discussions for trade rumors revolving around the future Hall-of-Famer. Vegas is looking to remain the top dog in the Pacific, while Chicago has been at the bottom of the Central virtually all season. Their -65 goal differential demonstrates that not only are they losing, but they’re also hardly even competitive most nights. The Golden Knights went into Chicago for the last meeting between these teams and took care of business 4-1. Expect a similar result tonight.
