Houston Rockets ML over Golden State Warriors (-180)
Wednesday’s game will see the Warriors try to close out this series with another win in Houston and naturally it’ll be the toughest game yet. Free-throw shooting is something that’ll need to be addressed ahead of Game 5 if you’re the Rockets, as they shot just 19 for 31 from the charity stripe last time, which ultimately cost them the game. Turnovers were also a factor with 13 committed, compared to just 8 by the Warriors. Wednesday’s game is a do-or-die scenario for the Rockets and they need their crowd to carry them in order to get this thing back to San Francisco.
At 29-12, Houston was one of the better home teams during the regular season, and in their last 13 games at Toyota Center they’ve lost only 3 times. Yes, the Warriors have had the Rockets’ number so far, but with the stakes being so high that should bring out the best out of this young team. Also, Jimmy Butler logged 40 minutes just days after falling on his back, and he might not have had enough time to recover. I’ll give the Rockets the benefit of the doubt and back them to win and force a Game 6.

Jalen Green to score 25+ points (+560)
Jalen Green has had a poor postseason campaign so far. But, that’s the good thing about the NBA Playoffs — he can have one good game and everything that happened before will be forgotten. What disappointed me the most in his Game 4 performance was the 8 field goals attempted. That number should be a lot higher for a 23-year-old who is experiencing the postseason for the first time. Head coach Ime Udoka has to make adjustments to put Green in a position to succeed, otherwise the Rockets will likely be going home after Game 5.
We saw Udoka play Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams for extended minutes together in Game 4, which had Houston in the game until the very end, so I’m sure the head coach has a couple more tricks up his sleeve to get the Rockets’ best player going here. Green went nuts in Game 2 of the series when he scored 38 points, including 8 threes, and that was the only game the Rockets have won in this series so far. The talented youngster is no stranger to high-scoring games, as he scored 20+ points in 48 regular-season games. I’ve not yet given up hope on him. If Green gets it going early here, I think he can string together a great game.
