Best NBA player prop bet: Karl-Anthony Towns (NYK) Under 29.5 points+rebounds (-110)
Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing
The New York Knicks have been unstoppable since Game 4 of their series against the Atlanta Hawks. That’s largely thanks to Karl-Anthony Towns. Over the last six games, his usage rate is up to 21%, and his assist rate has skyrocketed. That’s why we’re leaving assists off this points+rebounds prop. Over 4.5 assists is in play, but the best price of -125 does not intrigue me.
Towns will likely be matched up against Evan Mobley, who is one of the finest defensive players in the league. Mobley can keep Towns in check on the offensive end, while the Knicks will have better options to turn to during this series, including OG Anunoby, who will be back at full strength.
BetMGM and DraftKings are offering under 29.5 points+rebounds, while sharper books are already down to under 28.5.
