The Manchester clubs lead the way in the Premier League and both will be hoping for wins on Saturday. Leaders Manchester City’s task looks a lot easier because they are at home to bottom club Sheffield United. Except, of course, that Sheffield won at Manchester United in one of the shocks of the season on Wednesday night. Manchester United are on the road at one of their old-school rivals, Arsenal.

It’s a crazy season in the English Premier League and we’ve picked out a three-game parlay to enhance your excitement for Saturday’s action. Be sure to check out the rest of our Premier League soccer predictions and remember to gamble responsibly.

A parlay of three EPL predictions can land a big winning ticket, paying odds of +954 with FanDuel Sportsbook — more than 9/1.

Everton -1 to beat Newcastle – Against the Spread (+170), 7:30 a.m ET

Steve Bruce is still the Newcastle head coach but he looks to be on borrowed time – and the timer may run out this weekend.

If Bruce’s Newcastle doesn’t get a decent result at Everton then he could be fired — and their hopes of getting a victory look unlikely.

The confidence has fallen through the floor at Newcastle, which has not won any of its last 11 matches and has lost its last five in the Premier League.

The Magpies are playing so poorly, having scored just one goal in five games, and do not have much of a chance against an Everton team that is beginning to hit form.

The Toffees are in the hunt for a Champions League spot next season (the top four sides qualify for Europe’s biggest knockout competition) and they’ve got the star quality in their side, like one-time Real Madrid and Bayern Munich superstar James Rodriguez, who Newcastle can only dream of having.

Manchester City -2 to beat Sheffield United – Against the Spread (+125), 10 a.m ET

Manchester City is incredible right now and the clear favorites to win the Premier League after recovering from a slow start to the season.

The team, managed by the brilliant Pep Guardiola, have won seven games in a row and have won the last four with a shutout. Expect them to comfortably prove their class against Sheffield United.

This is top versus bottom, the best in the Premier League against the worst. Even though Sheffield surprised everyone by winning on the road at the other Manchester club — United — on Wednesday night, City is much better than their neighbors right now with an offense to die for and a defense, as we’ve seen, which gives up nothing.

Southampton vs. Aston Villa – Over 2.5 goals (-136), 3 p.m ET

There have been some high-scoring showdowns between Southampton and Aston Villa over the years and their meeting at St. Mary’s could see more goals.

In fact, forget down the years, how about as recently as November at Villa Park when the teams last played each other in the Premier League? That ended 4-3 to Southampton!

The Saints have actually scored an incredible 20 times in their last six matches against Villa so we know that they can hit the net.

But Villa, too, are free-scoring this season. Remember they smashed seven past the champs, Liverpool, earlier in the season and are great fun to watch. This match should also be great fun to watch.
