NFL pick today: Tennessee Titans -2.5 over Indianapolis Colts (-110), 1:00 pm ET

These AFC South rivals met just 3 weeks ago, when Tennessee won 24-17 and covered a 4-point spread as a road underdog. That gave the Titans, not just their fourth-straight win over Indianapolis, but also the fourth-straight time they had covered the spread — 3 times as a road dog and once as a home favorite.

The key to this matchup is the Colts defense versus Derrick Henry. The Titans are coming off a bye, so they are well-rested. In their first meeting this year, Henry rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown, giving him his 5th 100-yard effort over their last 6 meetings. Tennessee is all about time of possession and ball control, something they can continue to focus on this game. For that reason, backing the Titans to win and cover will be the play.

NHL pick today: Seattle Kraken ML over Chicago Blackhawks (-150), 2:05 pm ET

The Kraken have been off to a solid start given their expectations, earning points in 4 of their 6 games this season. The Kraken have more games under their belt and have taken down much better teams than the Blackhawks, as one of their wins was over the defending Stanley Cup champion Avalanche.

Seattle wants to win games and improve on its performance in its inaugural season. The Kraken’s offseason additions Shane Wright, Andre Burakovsky and Oliver Bjorkstrand can make that happen. For that reason, backing the Kraken to win will be the play.

MLB pick today: Houston Astros ML over New York Yankees (+100), 7:07 pm ET

For Game 4, Houston will start Lance McCullers Jr. to try to close out this series in the Bronx. McCullers was scheduled to start Game 3, but a champagne bottle accident pushed his start back a day. His lone postseason start was against the Mariners in Game 3 of the ALDS, which ended up becoming an 18-inning marathon, but the right-hander looked excellent. He allowed just 2 hits in 6 innings while recording 7 strikeouts.

With their backs to the wall, the Yankees will turn to the lefty Nestor Cortes to save them. He’s made 2 postseason starts against the Guardians and has been slightly more vulnerable than we saw in the regular season. The Astros proved in Game 3 that they should not be underdogs in the postseason, so for that reason, backing them to complete the sweep will be the play.

NBA pick today: Utah Jazz +8.5 over New Orleans Pelicans (-110), 7:10 pm ET

The Utah Jazz are arguably the most surprising team of the season so far. Not only did they upset a Denver Nuggets team which is considered a championship contender by a score of 123-102, but they also went on the road to face the Minnesota Timberwolves and won 132-126 in overtime.

This matchup has all the potential for a spectacular finish. The +8.5 line feels a little bit disrespectful given what we have seen from the Jazz so far this season. If the Jazz can continue their hot shooting, especially their 3-point shooting which ranks 4th in percentage, they should be able to keep the underdog momentum going and cover.
