NHL pick today: Carolina Hurricanes ML over New Jersey Devils (-130), 7:10 pm ET
New Jersey is down 3-1 in the series and are hoping to survive another day, but the task in front of them seems almost impossible. Despite missing key players, Carolina has been able to score 21 goals in just 4 games, while the Devils have gotten no goaltending and their offense has been invisible for most of the series.
Simply put, the Hurricanes are the better overall team, so because New Jersey has been unable to generate any kind of sustained offense and has had poor goaltending, backing the Hurricanes to win will be our play.

MLB pick today: Arizona Diamondbacks +1.5 over San Francisco Giants (-138), 9:40 pm ET
Both the San Francisco Giants (16-20) and the Arizona Diamondbacks (20-17) look to bounce back from recent losses when they begin their 4-game set at Chase Field tonight.
The Giants dropped 2 out of 3 to the Washington Nationals, which is never a great sign, but will have 12-year veteran Alex Cobb toeing the rubber for his 7th start of the season. Arizona on the other hand, will start left-hander Tommy Henry, who only has 62.2 MLB innings and is pitching to a 5.31 ERA.
This game looks much closer than the line suggests, so because the Diamondbacks have been good at the plate and are aggressive on the base paths, backing them to at least keep this game close will be our play,

NHL pick today: Seattle Kraken vs Dallas Stars – Over 5.5 goals (-134), 9:40 pm ET
Three of the four games ended with a total of nine goals, and the series has a current total of 33 goals (8.25 per game). Each team has been getting full-team contributions, and it seems like everyone has been joining the offensive fun. For that reason, backing the over will be our best bet for Game 5.

NBA pick today: Denver Nuggets ML over Phoenix Suns (+128), 10:00 pm ET
The Nuggets have their first chance of advancing to the Conference Finals tonight, but with just 1 road win in their last 8 away games it will be tough.
Despite their recent road struggles, the Suns will still have to play a perfect game offensively in order to extend this series and hope that Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets have an off night. Denver was close to winning in both Games 3 and 4, therefore backing yet another dominant performance from Jokic and a Nuggets win will be our play.
