EPL pick today: Arsenal ML over Chelsea (-185), 3:00 pm ET

Arsenal was outplayed by Manchester City in last Wednesday’s huge battle between the Premier League’s top two teams and cannot afford to slip up again at home to Chelsea this afternoon.

Chelsea’s season has gone from bad to worse with interim manager Frank Lampard losing all 5 of his games in charge. Because Arsenal has scored at least 3 times in 10 of its last 13 home EPL games, backing the Gunners to win today will be our play.

MLB pick today: San Francisco Giants vs Houston Astros – Under 8 runs (-105), 8:10 pm ET

The middle game of this 3-game set will feature Anthony DeSclafani on the mound for the Giants and Hunter Brown taking the hill for the Astros. Both starters have sub-3 ERAs and have been an important part of their respective rotations. DeSclafani has bounced back nicely with a 2.70 ERA in 30 innings after a disastrous 2022 campaign.

Brown is Houston’s #1 prospect, and through 5 starts, he has a 2.37 ERA. Against the Twins, Rangers, Braves and Rays, Brown allowed just 4 earned runs while racking up 27 strikeouts. Between two solid starting pitchers and Houston’s exceptional bullpen, backing the under will be our play tonight.

MLB pick today: Milwaukee Brewers vs Colorado Rockies – Under 11 runs (-105), 8:40 pm ET

The starting pitching matchup tonight will see Freddy Peralta for the visiting Brewers and Ryan Feltner for the Rockies. Peralta is once again off to a hot start as the right-hander has a 3.77 ERA paired with a 3.33 xERA after 28.2 innings. The veteran was tasked with a difficult start to the season as he had to face the Mets, Cardinals, Padres and Red Sox in his first 4 starts before finally getting an easier assignment against the Tigers last week.

Feltner has a ERA of 4.68, but over his last 11.2 innings, he has not allowed a run and has allowed just 8 hits. Because Peralta has been consistent and Feltner has been improving recently, backing the under will be our play tonight.

NBA pick today: Golden State Warriors -5 over Los Angeles Lakers (-106), 10:00 pm ET

Two of the NBA’s biggest stars will be going at it in the Western Conference semifinals. The Lakers won 3 of the 4 regular-season meetings against the Warriors, but both LeBron James and Stephen Curry missed 2 of those games so it’s hard to put any weight on those results.

The Warriors should have the momentum as they start this series at home. At Chase Center they’ve won 14 of their previous 16 games overall and 15 of their last 20 against the Lakers. The Warriors were 33-8 at home in the regular season, one of the best home records in the NBA. For that reason, backing Golden State to start this series strong with a win and cover will be our play.
