NBA pick today: Philadelphia 76ers vs Boston Celtics – Over 213 points (-110), 7:30 pm ET

So far 3 of the 4 meetings in the series have seen more than 213 points, the only one that didn’t was Game 2 in which Philly scored only 87 points.

Boston has gone over in 7 of 8 games, and for the season they are 27-18-1 on the O/U at TD Garden. Philadelphia has also cashed on the over 11 times in their last 15 games played on a Tuesday, and with the last 10 meetings producing an average of 219 points per game, therefore backing the over will be our best bet.

MLB pick today: Texas Rangers ML over Seattle Mariners (+152), 9:40 pm ET

Seattle has one of the weakest offenses in the league as they finished dead-last in batting average in April. One of the main reasons for their offensive struggles has been facing left-handed pitchers because Seattle currently ranks 29th in batting average, 30th in on-base percentage and 29th in OPS against southpaws. Unfortunately for them, they will face Texas starting pitcher, Andrew Heaney, a left hander.

On the other side, the Rangers lineup scores the most runs per game in the league and ranks 5th against fastballs, Seattle starter, George Kirby’s primary pitch. For that reason, backing the Rangers to win will be the play.

MLB pick today: Washington Nationals vs San Francisco Giants – Under 8.5 runs (-118), 9:45 pm ET

Washington starter, Patrick Corbin, one of baseball’s greatest fades last season has seemingly turned the corner – even if his advanced metrics don’t show it. The lefty has a 5.17 ERA, but has allowed 3 earned runs or less in 4 straight outings. That includes going at least 6 innings in 3 of the 4 starts.

San Francisco has been atrocious against left-handed pitching this season, which means Giants’ starter, Logan Webb is not likely to get much run support. On the other side, Webb should have his way with the Washington offense that ranks 28th in OPS against right handed pitching. For that reason, backing the under will be our play.

NBA pick today: Phoenix Suns +5.5 over Denver Nuggets (-108), 10:00 pm ET

Looking at the Suns without their starting point guard Chris Paul, they look quite different. With Cameron Payne in the starting lineup, the Suns have increased the tempo and are getting more points in transition. Both Devin Booker and Kevin Durant continued their dominance from their Game 3 performance as they both notched a 36 point double as Booker had 12 assists and Durant grabbed 11 boards in Game 4.

The Nuggets do have the edge as playing in Denver is rough. Along with the home court advantage, the Suns still do not have an answer for Nikola Jokic who managed to score a playoff career high 53 points in Game 4. Despite Jokic dominating, this should be a close game, which is why backing the Suns to cover will be our play.
