The greatest female mixed martial artist of all time returns

Amanda Nunes is looking to make history at UFC 250 by becoming the first female fighter to successfully defend world titles in two weight classes while holding both belts simultaneously. The featherweight and bantamweight champion of the world defends her 145lb title against Felicia Spencer in Saturday’s main event.

History beckons for Nunes, she has the best resume in women’s MMA and will look to cement herself as the true GOAT of the sport with another win. She’s currently on a 10-fight winning streak, beating the likes of Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, Miesha Tate, Valentina Shevchenko, and Cris Cyborg.

The woman standing in her way is Canadian Felicia Spencer, who’s already claimed, “I’m ready to shock the world. This is not my first time being a massive underdog and probably won’t be the last. Upsets happen all the time, and I’m ready to pull off a big one.”

Spencer is a durable striker who pushed Cris Cyborg to the distance at UFC 240. Nunes’ finishing power and Spencer’s durability makes for an enthralling encounter. View our Nunes vs Spencer picks now!

Men’s bantamweight division top 10 shakeup

After Henry Cejudo announced his retirement, the title is now up for grabs, and the top 10 will see a shakeup. Cody Garbrandt takes on Raphael Assuncao while Aljamain Sterling faces Cory Sandhagen.

It may be a case of now or never for Cody Garbrandt, the man who was billed as the next big thing will look to get his career started again on Saturday night. Garbrandt has not only lost his last three fights (twice to TJ Dillashaw and once to Pedro Munhoz), he’s lost by knockout on all three occasions, and is without a win since December 2016.

Garbrandt must prove that his chin isn’t a problem. A much-needed win would see him rise in the rankings and bring back some memories of the times where he went 11 fights undefeated. View our Garbrandt vs Assuncao picks now!

Sterling vs. Sandhagen not to be missed

A bantamweight title fight between two fighters ranked in the top four of the 135 pounds division. It’s among the best matches that can be made in the sport.

Number two ranked Sterling is fresh off wrist surgery and is incredibly deserving in his own right after 2019 wins over Jimmie Rivera and Pedro Munhoz. Number four ranked Sandhagen is unbeaten inside the Octagon and riding a seven-fight win streak.

Each of their last four combined fights has gone the distance, and this fight has all the makings of going by way of decision. It’s safe to consider this fight a de facto No. 1 contender bout for the winner of Yan-Aldo. View our Sterling vs Sandhagen picks now!
