Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another terrific Tuesday of sports. Congratulations to the Miami Heat and Vegas Golden Knights, who punched tickets to their respective Finals with convincing road wins on Monday night. We now know that either the Heat or Nuggets will win the NBA Championship, while the Golden Knights or Panthers will claim the Stanley Cup. Before that is decided. we have another busy day of baseball on Tuesday, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better!

About Last Night

Celtics crumble under Game 7 heat
The Heat did what they do best on Monday night, shrugging off the underdog tag to beat the Celtics 103-84 in Game 7 to reach the NBA Finals as a #8 seed. That was good news for Pickswise followers as we comfortably cashed our NBA picks of the Heat +8 and under 203.5 points. We also went 2-1 with our NBA props. The Nuggets are -480 favorites to win the NBA Finals at FanDuel Sportsbook, with the Heat at +330 odds and 9-point underdogs for Thursday’s Game 1.

Golden Knights eclipse the Stars
The Vegas Golden Knights cruised into the Stanley Cup Finals against the Florida Panthers with a 6-0 Game 6 win over the Dallas Stars on Monday.  We also cashed both of our picks for that game, including Vegas -1.5 at +230 odds. The Golden Knights are -130 odds to win the Stanley Cup with DraftKings Sportsbook, which has the Panthers at +110. Vegas is -135 favorites to win Game 1 on Saturday.

MLB Best Bet cashes
Our only 3-star play on Monday’s MLB slate was Rangers -1.5 and that cashed easily in a 5-0 win over the Tigers. The Guardians, Royals and Cubs also posted shutout wins on Memorial Day. We went 2-o with our YRFI/NRFI picks, taking our run with those to an awesome 38-18.

Best Bet of the Day

MLB: New York Mets ML over Philadelphia Phillies
7:10 pm ET, TBS

The Phillies are just 5-9 in their last 14 games and are starting LHP Ranger Suarez, who has a dismal 9.82 ERA in 11 innings through 3 outings, with teams are tuning him up at a .347 clip at the plate. He has also walked 5 batters in his 11 innings. In his lone road start, he allowed 3 runs and 7 hits across 4 innings in a no-decision in Colorado on May 13. The Phillies are 2-6 in their last 8 road games and 0-4 in their previous 4 series openers. New York is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings in this series, while cashing in 6 of the last 7 meetings at Citi Field. Read our full Phillies vs Mets predictions.
