NFL Week 5 5-Leg Parlay: Best Picks for Sunday's Games at +1843 odds
Week 5 of the NFL season kicked off Tampa Bay’s surprising victory at Dallas, and now it’s time to focus on a full Sunday slate. It is headlined by Eagles vs Jaguars in London, 49ers vs Seahawks and Ravens vs Falcons on Sunday Night Football.
Below is my mega parlay, and also be sure to check out all of our NFL picks.
Bengals -6.5 (-120)
Patriots ML (-184)
Bears ML (-120)
Lions -5.5 (-104)
49ers +3 (-110)
NFL parlay odds: +1843
Cincinnati Bengals -6.5 over Miami Dolphins (-120)
This Dolphins were bad to begin with and then lost one of their best and most explosive players in De'Von Achane. The Bengals, meanwhile, are 2-2 – with only eight points separating them from a perfect 4-0 start. Tee Higgins is on track to play, so Cincinnati’s offense should pave the way to a comfortable win – with or without Ja’Marr Chase.
New England Patriots ML over Las Vegas Raiders (-184)
I have a bit more faith in the Pats to keep up their positive momentum after beating the Bills last weekend. The Raiders are an impressive 3-1, but they are coming off a loss to the Chiefs. I’m not a believer in Las Vegas despite its surprising start, and I think New England’s defense can frustrate Kirk Cousins. Giving more than a field is not particularly appealing, but the money line looks good.
Chicago Bears ML over Green Bay Packers (-120)
The Bears are 3-1, including 2-0 without Caleb Williams. Case Keenum got the job done in Week 3 and Tyson Bagent led Chicago to its most recent victory. Williams is still sidelined by a hamstring injury, but Bagent can lead his team to another win – especially against such an unspectacular opponent. The Packers are 2-2 and got absolutely blown out by the only two decent teams they have played (Minnesota and Atlanta). That you can feel very good about a team on the road with a backup QB says a lot about the current state of affairs in Green Bay.
Detroit Lions -5.5 over Arizona Cardinals (-104)
The Cardinals are in the midst of a three-game losing streak and they are on the verge of trading Marvin Harrison Jr., who will be inactive for Sunday. Arizona has already lost by double digits twice – by 24 points to Seahawks and by 12 to the Giants. Now it has to face a Detroit offense that ranks #6 overall (yards per game), #5 in scoring (29.8 points per game) and #3 in passing. Give me the Lions to win going away.
San Francisco 49ers +3 over Seattle Seahawks (-110)
There may not be any entirely dominant team in the NFL at the moment, but it looks like the 49ers may be the best. San Francisco took care of Denver 24-14 last week as Brock Purdy improved his touchdown-to-interception ratio to 11-to-1. Sam Darnold is back for the Seahawks, but they haven’t been especially impressive so far this season. Give me the Niners plus the points, and they might even win outright as they bid for revenge on last season’s playoff loss.
