To start tonight's NHL parlay, I'm backing the Bruins to beat the Mammoth. In the last four head-to-head meetings between the Mammoth and Bruins dating back to October of 2024, the home team is a perfect 4-0. Boston is well rested, having not played since Monday. It suffered a loss to Ottawa earlier this week, but its home opener was a 3-0 shutout of the Rangers. This is Utah's fourth stop on a five-game road trip, so fatigue could be a factor.
Next, let's go with the Islanders to beat the Blackhawks. Chicago is one of the worst offensive and defensive teams in the NHL so far this season. The Blackhawks are averaging 2.25 goals scored and 4.25 goals allowed per game. Adding insult to injury, Connor Bedard is sidelined. Now they have to face NYI goalie Ilya Sorokin, who has a 1.03 GAA and .968 SVP with one shutout in 2026-27.
To wrap up today's NHL parlay, I'm rolling with St. Louis to beat San Jose. The Sharks were without Macklin Celebrini due to a lower-body injury in their last game and he is listed as day-to-day. Regadless of Celebrini's status, the Blues should have a good chance to win their home opener in front of an enthused crowd. Joel Hofer will be in net, arguably superior to Jordan Binnington. San Jose is coming off a 5-0 loss at Dallas.
