The Minnesota Wild and Winnipeg Jets meet in Manitoba, and it's an early-season, surprise marquee game. The Wild streak in at 4-1-1, while the Jets are 3-1-1. Both teams are off to fast starts, and it's a combination of solid defensive play, and tremendous goaltending. That's a departure from what this series has offered, as three of the past four meetings have gone Over, with 6.3 goals per game.
For Minnesota, the Under is a perfect 6-0 on the season. The offense has scored two or more goals in every game, averaging 3.2 goals per contest, while allowing 1.7 goals per game. Furthermore, Jesper Wallstedt has had it on lockdown in the crease for the Wild. The Under has cashed in four in a row for the Jets, including three consecutive 3-2 victories from Oct. 4-7. Last time out, Winnipeg was humbled 5-1 in a game started by Clay Stevenson. Connor Hellebuyck should be back in there on Tuesday, aiding the Under even further.
