The Montreal Canadiens have taken a 2-1 series lead over the Tampa Bay Lightning in this electric best-of-7 series. Game 4 will be played on Sunday night in Montreal after each of the first 3 games needed overtime to settle. The margins are razor thin in this series, and there is no room to make a mistake. The goaltending and defensive play has been solid, making high-danger scoring chances hard to come by. Two of the first 3 games have gone under the game total, mostly due to the reasons just noted. I don’t see any reason to believe that Game 4 will be played any differently than the first 3; Jon Cooper and Martin St. Louis have their teams buttoned up defensively.

Going down 3-1 in the series against the Canadiens will be very difficult to come back from for the Lightning. Future hall of famer Andrei Vasilevskiy has yet to steal a game for the Lightning. I expect his best performance of the series tonight. With the tight defensive play and good goaltending in this game, I think we are in for another low-scoring game. Give me the under in this one.
