Kentucky Wildcats vs Arkansas Razorbacks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 01/31/26

The Kentucky Wildcats’ 5-game win streak was snapped in an embarrassing showing against Vanderbilt in Nashville on Tuesday, scoring just 0.79 points per possession on less than 40% shooting inside the arc and 25% beyond it. Moreover, the Wildcats connected on only 58% of their free throws and turned the ball over 15 times in the 80-55 loss. It won’t get any easier for them on Saturday when they hit the road for the 2nd straight game to play the Arkansas Razorbacks, coached by the man who led the Kentucky program for 15 years. After stealing a win at Oklahoma on Tuesday, the Razorbacks return home to Bud Walton Arena, where they haven’t lost in almost a full calendar year. 

Averaging 96 points per game on their home floor with an effective field goal percentage close to 60%, the Razorbacks are a wagon in front of their home fans, which means the Wildcats are going to have to score in bunches to keep pace with the Hogs. That’s where I struggle with this matchup, as Kentucky has shown a very low floor offensively at various points throughout the season – including losses to Michigan State, Gonzaga, Alabama and Vanderbilt. This Wildcats squad is very banged up too, playing without the services of Jaland Lowe, Kam Williams and Jayden Quaintance.

Propelled by an elite offense, the Razorbacks are 9-3 ATS at home, including 4-1 ATS against power-conference opponents within the friendly confines of Bud Walton Arena. Given Kentucky’s inconsistencies, I expect Arkansas to continue their winning ways at home, and for the Razorbacks to cover this number in the process.
