Michigan State -2.0(-115)

The Michigan State Spartans will travel to Bloomington on Sunday afternoon for a Big Ten game against the Indiana Hoosiers. Michigan State is coming off a monster road win against Purdue on Thursday and will look to keep their momentum going. They will look for another road win against an Indiana team that has lost three straight games. The Hoosiers are coming off a home loss to Northwestern in their last game, lowering their chances to make the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State is playing the better basketball between these programs, and I am backing them to get it done here.

Michigan State is my best bet of the game because the Spartans should be able to dominate the glass like they have done to numerous other teams this season. Per KenPom, the Spartans offense is ranked 6th nationally in offensive rebounding percentage and their defense is ranked #1 in offensive rebounding percentage. Indiana should struggle to keep them off the glass and I do not see them being good enough there to cover. Indiana’s defense is ranked 332rd nationally in offensive rebounding percentage per Bart Torvik, so the Hoosiers will likely struggle with the physicality of Michigan State. Lay the points with the Spartans here.
