Purdue Boilermakers vs Indiana Hoosiers Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 01/27/26

The Purdue Boilermakers will make the short trip to Bloomington on Tuesday night for a Big 10 Conference game against the Indiana Hoosiers. Purdue has been the better team recently between these two in-state rivals, but Indiana won their last matchup in Bloomington last season. The Hoosiers are near the bubble of the NCAA Tournament, so a win here would do wonders but I expect Purdue to get a nice road win on Tuesday night. The Boilermakers are coming off two straight losses and should come out hungry to break their unexpected losing streak.

Purdue is currently -4 on the road and I believe they will cover that spread. I like Purdue to cover the four-point spread because they are one of the best teams in the country and their offense should lead them to a victory. The Boilermakers lost to Illinois on Saturday but still managed to score 80 points in that game. Their offense is ranked #2 in adjusted offensive efficiency and #8 in effective field goal percentage on KenPom. Indiana’s defense is ranked just #57 in adjusted efficiency, and I do not think they can stop Purdue enough to stay within the number. Take Purdue to bounce back and cover the spread here.
