Money Line Pick
Utah State Win(+105)

The Utah State Aggies will travel to Albuquerque on Wednesday to play a Mountain West Conference game against the New Mexico Lobos. These sides are fighting to be the best team in the league and are looking to make the NCAA Tournament. The Mountain West should be a multi-big league, but a victory here would give the winner a leg up. This matchup will be game one of the season series as New Mexico will travel to Utah State for the least game of the season. Both of their matchups could determine the conference title, and the spread suggests it is going to be a close matchup.

I like Utah State to pull off the slight upset here because I believe they are the best team in the conference and its offense should be too much for New Mexico. Utah State is coming off a monster win against San Diego State and are riding a three-game winning streak. They are 9-2 in the conference and have the best offense in the league. According to KenPom, the Aggies offense is ranked #1 in adjusted efficiency, effective field goal percentage, offensive rebounding percentage and two-point percentage. The Lobos defense has been efficient guarding the three but have struggled to play good defense from two-point land. Utah State shoots most of their shots from 2-point range and they could have a big advantage inside in this one. Take Utah State to win on the road.
