Ole Miss has a pretty decent talent edge in this matchup, and the Rebels come into this game following a week off to rest and recharge for the second half of their season. That's a pretty big advantage when going up against a team that just played Georgia and is facing their sixth consecutive game. I don't see this as a lookahead for Ole Miss, who hosts Missouri next week, so after an embarrassing result against Florida, the Rebels should have full focus on this one.
Navy is happy to be home, but this is a tough spot for the Midshipmen. They've been on the road since Week 1 and are coming off a physical loss across the country at Air Force to play a Tulsa team that benefits from a couple extra days of rest having played Thursday of last week. The Golden Hurricane's best defensive trait is their run defense, which matches up well with a run-heavy Navy offense.
We don't see Boise State in the revenge role much in conference, but that's exactly what we have here when they travel to Fresno this weekend. The Bulldogs beat the Broncos on the blue turf last year in decisive fashion, and QB Maddux Madsen was lost to injury in the midst of the lost. Now healthy and leading an offense that has scored at least 27 points in every game and at least 32 in four straight contests, the Broncos should light up the scoreboard more than a few times in Fresno. For what it's worth, the Bulldogs haven't seen a good offense since Week 1, when they surrendered 39 to USC.
