College Football Week 8 Anytime TD Scorer Picks & Bets
College football Week 8 is upon us, headlined by a huge Saturday schedule that includes ESPN College Gameday in Salt Lake City for Houston vs Utah. Also on the slate are Indiana vs Michigan, LSU vs Auburn and Ole Miss vs Texas.
Here are my best anytime touchdown scorer bets for Saturday. I cashed all three of my plays last weekend, so let’s keep the momentum going! Also check out our Week 8 best bets for Friday.
College Football Week 8 Touchdown Scorer Bet: George MacIntye, QB, Tennessee Over 1.5 passing TDs (+198)
Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing
George MacIntyre will once again get the start for Tennessee in what is suddenly an intriguing SEC showdown against South Carolina after the Gamecocks upended Florida two weeks ago, prior to their bye. Still, this is not a bad matchup at all for the Volunteers’ passing attack. The ‘Cocks surrender 237.2 yards per game via the airwaves on 7.6 yards per attempt and have given up 14 passing touchdowns while making only four interceptions. MacIntyre was not asked to do too much against Alabama in Week 7, but he threw for 247 yards and a score against Arkansas in his previous outing. This far into plus money, G-Mac has outstanding value to toss multiple scoring strikes on Saturday.

College Football Week 8 Touchdown Scorer Bet: Branden Ganashmoorthy, WR, Washington State (+165)
Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook at time of publishing
Washington State probably won’t beat Boise State, but Branden Ganashmoorthy should be in line for a productive day at the office. The Cougars figure to be playing from behind most of the way, so they should air it out early and often. Ganashmoorthy comes in with 26 receptions for 343 yards and three touchdowns on the season. The junior most recently torched Oregon State for 147 yards and one score on 11 catches. He now faces a Broncos defense that yields 261.3 passing yards per game on 8.7 yards per attempt and has allowed 12 touchdowns through the air.

College Football Week 8 Touchdown Scorer Bet: Demon June, RB, North Carolina (-175)
Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing
Demon June may have seven fewer carries than backfield mate Benjamin Hall, but he is without question the goal-line RB for North Carolina. The sophomore has already scored six touchdowns this season (compared to zero for Hall), including at least one in four of the last five games. June has a favorable matchup this weekend against Syracuse, which brings a woeful run defense to the table. The Orange give up 139.5 rushing yards per contest on 4.2 yards per attempt and have surrendered 13 TDs on the ground.
