Army Black Knights vs East Carolina Pirates Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 09/25/25

The Army Black Knights hit the road to battle the East Carolina Pirates at the Rowdy Dowdy on a Thursday night. Army lost a 45-38 heartbreaker in overtime against North Texas in the conference opener last weekend, and it has dropped two games in OT at Michie Stadium in West Point this season. It also lost to Tarleton State in the opener, a team ranked No. 3 in the FCS. Army scored its lone victory of the season, posting a 24-21 win at Kansas State as a 17-point underdog on Sept. 6, so it’s been a bit of an erratic, unpredictable season for the Black Knights thus far.

For the Pirates, they’re spinning their wheels at 2-2 through four games. East Carolina lost a tough one in Raleigh at rival NC State, falling 24-17 in the opener, but it easily covered as 13.5-point underdogs. In fact, ECU went 3-0 against the spread (ATS) in the first three games before getting dusted by BYU last weekend in Greenville, 34-13. The Under has cashed in three of four games to date for the Pirates, but with the Over 2-1 in three games for Army, let’s focus on the side. You can expect a very close game here. The underdog cashed last season, as ECU held on for a for at West Point in a 45-28 loss. Army covered its only game as underdog of three or more points this season, and ECU is 0-1 ATS at home against an FBS opponent. The sample size isn’t huge, but the signs point to Army getting it done.
