BYU Cougars vs Colorado Buffaloes Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 09/27/25
BYU vs Colorado Pickswise Expert Predictions
The BYU Cougars hit the road for Boulder in this Big 12 conference battle against the Colorado Buffaloes. It’s been a roller coaster ride for CU, as it has split the first four games, including a 36-20 loss in the conference opener at Houston on Sept. 12. Colorado is 1-2-1 against the spread (ATS) in the first four games, covering last week for the first time in a 37-20 win over Wyoming as 12.5-point favorites. QB Kaidon Salter and the Buffs got going on offense, throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns, while running for a team-best 86 yards and a score.
BYU has won all three games so far against Portland State, Stanford and East Carolina on the road, covering each of the first three games, including the 34-13 road victory against the Pirates last Saturday. It’s all about defense for the Cougars, allowing just 8.0 PPG in two games against FBS opponents to date. Colorado will struggle to solve the BYU defense, although Salter will give the Cougars their biggest test of the season. BYU has scored 27 or more points in all three games, including 34 in its only road try last Saturday. The Cougars should pull away in the second half for the cover. Go especially hard if you’re able to find a shop offering this at -6.5 still.
BYU -7 (-110) at time of publishing. Playable to -8.
