Georgia Southern Eagles vs USC Trojans Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 09/06/25
Georgia Southern vs USC Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Georgia Southern Eagles stayed in California this week, and they’re looking to bounce back after getting drummed on The Valley by the Fresno State Bulldogs last Saturday night. The Eagles were on the short end of a 42-14 loss despite going into the game as either a pick ’em or slight favorite. The Georgia Southern defense was roughed up for 527 total yards by Fresno State, while allowing 6.5 yards per pass attempt, and 8.0 rushing yards per try. Fresno State gouged Georgia Southern for a whopping 351 rushing yards, and that’s bad news heading into the Coliseum.
USC got off to a rousing start last week, pounding FCS Missouri State by a 73-13 count. The Trojans rolled up 597 total yards of offense, with 364 yards coming through the air. Former UNLV QB Jayden Maiava was impressive, going 15-of-18 for 295 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, while also rushing for a score. USC totaled six rushing touchdowns, too, while posting a plus-2 turnover ratio. While head coach Clay Helton returns to USC hoping for the best, his team should be overmatched. Look for the Trojans to pull away in the second half for an impressive cover.
USC -29 (-110) at time of publishing. Playable to -30.5.
