Grambling State Tigers vs Ohio State Buckeyes Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/06/25

The #1 Ohio State Buckeyes will play at home again in Week 2, but it will come against a very different type of opponent than they faced last week when they beat the Texas Longhorns. This week, the Buckeyes draw FCS Grambling State from the SWAC, and they’re giving more than 55 points to the Tigers at Ohio Stadium. 

Grambling looked great last week in a 55-7 win, but the Tigers didn’t even play an NCAA opponent. They played Langston from the NAIA, holding the Lions to fewer than 100 total yards. Needless to say, Ohio State is going to be a much different test. 

This is not going to be the most popular game to bet, but if you’re investing in this one, you should probably lay it with the Bucks despite the massive number. After a tightly-contested defensive affair last week against Texas, I expect OC Brian Hartline to unleash QB Julian Sayin and the Buckeye offense against an inferior opponent without much resistance.
