Northwestern Wildcats vs Penn State Nittany Lions Prediction, Odds and Picks for Saturday, 10/11/25
Northwestern vs Penn State Pickswise Expert Predictions
The Northwestern Wildcats take a trip to Happy Valley, which isn’t terribly happy these days after back-to-back losses. The Penn State Nittany Lions suffered a 30-24 loss in double-overtime on Sept. 27 in State College, but that wasn’t so bad. However, Penn State went to UCLA, facing a winless Bruins team, and it suffered a 42-37 loss as a 25-point favorite last Saturday. The defense had allowed 17 total points in the first three games, but they’ve given up a total of 72 points in the past two games in loss to Oregon and UCLA. Penn State is 0-5 against the spread (ATS) this season, including 0-4 ATS as a double-digit favorite.
The Wildcats picked up a 42-7 win against UL Monroe last Saturday as an 11.5-point favorite in Evanston, coming on the heels of a 17-14 win at home against the aforementioned Bruins in Evanston on Sept. 27. Northwestern did lose 34-14 to Oregon at home, too, if we’re looking at common opponents, although the Wildcats earned the cover as a 26.5-point underdog. The Wildcats are 3-1 ATS in the past four games, while the Under is 4-1 in five games. With the total trends all over the board, let’s focus on the points. Northwestern catching more than three touchdowns is the way to go.
Northwestern +22 (-110) at time of publishing. Playable to +21.
