UL Monroe Warhawks vs Alabama Crimson Tide Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/06/25
UL Monroe vs Alabama Pickswise Expert Predictions
The UL Monroe Warhawks picked up a 29-0 victory over St. Francis (PA) of the FCS last week, just missing a cover as 31-point favorites as the Under (47) cashed. The Warhawks were impressive against the overmatched Red Flash, going for 434 total yards to just 131 for the visitors while posting 22 first downs. ULM rolled up 311 rushing yards, too, as RB Braylon McReynolds was good for 113 yards on 11 carries with QB Aidan Armenta throwing for 95 yards and a TD and running 5 times for 39 yards and a score. The Warhawks averaged 7.2 rushing yards per attempt, too, but that is obviously going to take quite a bit against Alabama.
The Crimson Tide head into their home opener awfully angry after losing at Florida State 31-17. The Tide were outgained at a 382 to 341 margin in total yards while allowing FSU to ramble for 230 rushing yards with 4.7 yards per rushing attempt. Alabama was on the short end despite a plus-1 turnover ratio. Believe it or not, Alabama looked a little soft — so facing ULM could be a little bigger of a test than previously expected. The Crimson Tide should get back on track with their first win of 2025, but it might be a bit of a struggle against a UL Monroe team that did well in their opener.
