West Virginia Mountaineers vs Kansas Jayhawks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 09/20/25
West Virginia vs Kansas Pickswise Expert Predictions
The West Virginia Mountaineers hit the road again Saturday, this time for the Big 12 conference opener for both teams. The Mountaineers will face the Kansas Jayhawks, a team raring to get back on the field after a loss to rival Mizzou last time out in Columbia. West Virginia earned an emotional 31-24 win over Pittsburgh in the Backyard Brawl, washing the bad taste out of its mouth after a 17-10 loss at Ohio as 3.5-point favorites. The Mountaineers feel better about all aspects of their team after the win over Pitt. The Under has cashed in all three games for WVU, while going 2-1 ATS.
For Kansas, it is just 1-9 SU in the past 10 meetings in this series since Oct. 4, 2014, although it is 6-1-1 ATS in the past eight meetings. However, the Jayhawks have never been favored in the past 10 meetings, too, so it’s an eyebrow-raiser that KU is favored by nearly two touchdowns at most shops. The Jayhawks have scored 31 or more points in all three games to date, including a 42-31 loss at Mizzou. This West Virginia defense will be the best one it has seen yet. If you’re into SGPs, going low on the total is a good play, but make sure to take the Mountaineers with the points, especially if you can get it at a flat 14 at some point.
West Virginia +13 (-110) at time of publishing. Playable to +11.5.
