Arizona Diamondbacks vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 04/13/26

The Arizona Diamondbacks will head to Camden Yards for a three-game set against the Baltimore Orioles. Both teams are coming in with momentum, each going 6-4 over their last 10 games. Taking the mound for Arizona will be Ryne Nelson who is 1-1 with a 4.20 ERA through three starts this season. Nelson has improved in each of his starts, coming off his best outing against the Mets where he allowed just one earned run on five hits in 5.2 innings pitched. For the Orioles, Dean Kremer will be making his season debut after being called back up from Triple-A Norfolk. 

Offensively, the Orioles hold a slight edge, batting .249 as a team and averaging four runs per game, while the Diamondbacks are hitting .226 with the same run production. Baltimore also has the more reliable bullpen, posting a 3.45 ERA compared to Arizona’s 4.50. The biggest question here is how Kremer will perform in his first start this season, especially against a Diamondbacks lineup that can capitalize on mistakes. With both offenses showing signs of life and some uncertainty on the mound, I’m going to back the over in tonight’s matchup. Both teams are capable of scoring runs, and I think we’ll see plenty of that with Kremer making his first start of the year, and the Orioles finding a way to add to the total by scoring a few off the Diamondbacks bullpen.
