Arizona Diamondbacks vs Minnesota Twins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/12/25

The Arizona Diamondbacks continue their road trip as they make their way to Minnesota to open a three-game series against the Twins. Arizona remains in the hunt for the final NL Wild Card spot, sitting just three games back of the Mets, making this a crucial series. Taking the mound for Arizona will be Brandon Pfaadt who enters with a 13-8 record and a 5.18 ERA. 

For the Twins, Pablo Lopez takes the mound with a 5-4 record and a 2.84 ERA. The Twins have the slight advantage on the mound with Lopez, but offensively, the edge is with the Diamondbacks as they’re averaging 4.8 runs per game in their last 10 compared to the Twins 4.4  When the Twins traded away Jhoan Duran at the trade deadline, their bullpen took a significant blow. The Diamondbacks bullpen has struggled all season, holding a 4.80 ERA, slightly worse than the Twins 4.68 ERA. Arizona has had the better offense all year, and knowing how Pfaadt has struggled on the mound, both teams should be able to score runs, which is why I’ll be backing the over as my best bet of the day.
