The Braves and Nationals are set to begin a 3-game series at Nationals Park on Monday night. The 2025 season has not been kind to Spencer Strider, but he seems to be ending the season on a high note. Strider has allowed just 6 earned runs over his last 3 outings and 18 innings of work. He struggled against the Nationals back on May 20, but that was just his second start of the season and his first after returning from the IL. He looks much-improved since then, and should be able to limit the damage from Washington.

The Nationals will send left-hander Mitchell Parker to the mound. Parker posted a less-than-ideal 10.25 ERA in the month of August, but like Strider, has pitched well in recent outings. He is coming off a start in which he allowed 2 earned runs on just 4 hits over 7.2 innings against the Marlins.
