Orioles vs White Sox Pickswise Expert Predictions

Game Totals Pick
Over 7.5(-105)

The Baltimore Orioles have taken the first 2 games from the Chicago White Sox in this series with some great pitching performances, but they have to be a bit concerned about the play of Kyle Bradish entering this final game. The White Sox respond with Sean Burke, who is looking to build on a solid 2025 season and great start to this year in his first two appearances. The Orioles’ offense has been sputtering as of late, which gives Burke a chance for a 3rd consecutive good start, but it also means they are primed for a breakout.

It has been a rough two starts for Bradish, going just 8.2 innings and allowing 8 hits, 6 walks, and 6 earned runs. The White Sox don’t hit for a ton of power or have a lot of players who can hurt you, but they do tend to grind away in at-bats, as evidenced by their three-game sweep of the Toronto Blue Jays this past weekend, where they frustrated the team’s pitchers. If they can get to Bradish early on Wednesday, the runs will come.

One problem for the Orioles’ offense this season has been a lack of pop, but that doesn’t mean they don’t have the players to deliver. Burke presents an opportunity for the Orioles’ power hitters to get going in this matchup, as despite some good numbers, he is allowing a 48.3% hard-hit rate this season. Both offenses have been quiet early this season, but this game presents a unique opportunity for both teams to get some runs on the board.
