Kremer is coming off an incredible start where he gave up 1 run in 8 innings against the Seattle Mariners. Prior to that, he gave up 12 runs in just 17 innings pitched. This describes Kremer’s season perfectly as he has been up and down regularly. The Astros lineup bats .284 against Kremer through 67 at-bats. The Astros also rank third in batting average and fifth in total hits this season. These numbers contribute to their 38-26 home record.

For the Astros, Javier is taking the mound for the second time this season. In his first start, he went 5 innings against the Boston Red Sox giving up 3 hits and 2 earned runs. This is a good sign for the Astros as they also have one of the best bullpens in the MLB. The exact opposite can be said for Baltimore, whose bullpen has struggled all year. Overall, I suspect Javier will pitch well and we will watch the Kremer and the Orioles’ bullpen give up plenty of runs. I am taking the Astros to win.
