Chicago White Sox vs Minnesota Twins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/03/25

It’s an AL Central showdown as the Chicago White Sox and Minnesota Twins look to battle it out. The Chicago White Sox look to pick up their fourth straight win as they send Yoendrys Gomez to the mound, who enters with a 3-2 record and 3.20 ERA. For the Twins, Zebby Matthews will get the nod, entering with a 4-4 record and 5.06 ERA. 

Gomez is still working his way into the starting role for the White Sox, so it’s unlikely he’ll go deep into tonight’s game. The same goes for Matthews, he typically doesn’t go deep into the game, which means we could see both teams bullpens early in this one. Offensively, the White Sox continue to swing a hot bat, averaging 5.0 runs per game in their last 10 compared to the Twins 4.7 runs per game. Both teams are just playing for pride at this point, however, there’s value picking the White Sox. Based on the way Chicago has been playing, I’ll take the insurance run as I think they’ll keep this game close and get to Matthews early on in this one.
