Cincinnati Reds vs Miami Marlins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 04/07/26

The Miami Marlins face the Cincinnati Reds again on Tuesday night. The Reds have now won 4 in a row, including last night’s 2-0 victory over Miami. They have done it with pitching, as they have scored only 2 runs in 3 straight games. They will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday as Sandy Alcantara takes the hill. Cy Young Sandy has yet to allow a run across two starts, and he seems to be back in form after a long road back from injury. Between Alcantara on the mound and the Reds skating by with minimal offense, I am taking the Marlins to win tonight.

The Reds will turn to Andrew Abbott. Abbott has been solid to start the season. He threw 6 scoreless innings against the Red Sox in his first start, but he could not survive a 3-run homer from Oneil Cruz in his second start. With the way Alcantara is pitching so far, Abbott will need to be perfect again tonight to win. Again, though, I don’t know how you bet against Alcantara when he is this dialed in. Give me the Fish.
