Rockies vs Giants Pickswise Expert Predictions

Colorado Rockies
Run Line Pick
SF Giants Win -1.5(-140)

In this game, we will see the Colorado Rockies take on the San Francisco Giants. The Giants have beaten the Rockies the last 2 nights. On the mound today, we have McCade Brown of the Rockies and Logan Webb of the Giants. Brown has had a difficult rookie season thus far. Through 6 starts he has a 7.54 ERA and a 0-4 record. He is coming off his best start, where he completed a full 5 innings and only gave up 1 run against the Seattle Mariners. The issue for Brown is that the Giants are averaging 5 runs per game over the past 6 games. I imagine it will be a rough start to end Brown’s rookies season.

For the Giants, Webb will get the start. Webb has been great this season with a 3.30 ERA and a 14-11 record. Webb has pitched twice against the Rockies this season and went 12 innings giving up 13 hits and 3 earned runs. Webb’s ability to limit runs is incredible. Up against Webb will be a Rockies lineup that is batting .185 with 16 runs in the last 6 games. The Rockies also hold the worst batting average in the MLB away from home (.204) along with the least amount of runs scored. The Rockies bullpen also ranks 29th with an ERA of 5.22 on the season. Overall, this should be a good close to the season for Webb and the Giants. I am taking the Giants on the run line.

Rockies vs. Giants Prediction: Giants -1.5 (-140) available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number.
