In this game, we will see the Kansas City Royals face off against the Chicago White Sox for the sixth time this year. I do not suspect that we will watch the Royals crumble today as they only have 27 errors on the year and the bullpen has an ERA of 3.35. On the mound, we will see Michael Wacha of the Royals and Adrian Houser of the White Sox. Wacha has been great for the Royals giving up less than 2 runs in 4 of his last 5 starts. He has also been able to go beyond the 5^th inning in 9 of 12 starts. I do not suspect that he will struggle against a White Sox team that rank 28^th in batting average on the year.

For the White Sox, they will be starting Houser who has pitched great in 2 of his 3 starts. On the year, he has given up 3 runs in 18.1 innings. While these number are impressive, he showed some cracks in his last start. He gave up 8 hits and 3 runs to the Orioles in 6.1 innings. We may see number closer to these tomorrow as the Royals have a batting average of .303 against Houser in his career. Additionally, the Royals are batting .270 over the past 6 games. Overall, Wacha has been pitching great and going deep into games, Houser has a small sample size meaning there is more room for error, and the Royals will want to seek revenge after last night’s loss. I am taking the Royals on the run line.
