He hasn’t seen Seattle since late July, but he failed to make it through 5 innings that time. A short outing tonight would be trouble. Castillo had a strong start earlier this week, but that ended a run of 4 straight rough starts. He last saw the Halos in early June and gave up 6 runs. I do not have a ton of confidence in either of these starters right now, and with the bullpens getting taxed heavily on Thursday, this seems like a spot where someone is going to have to eat some innings and just take it on the chin at some point in this game, whether starter or bullpen arm.
