After five days of rest, the Philadelphia Phillies return to action as they host the Los Angeles Dodgers. The last time these two teams squared off in the postseason goes all the way back in 2009, when the Phillies took the series 4-1. The Dodgers hope not to have a repeat of the 2009 season as they aim for back-to-back World Series titles. With the Dodgers offense firing on all cylinders, the Phillies will need to find a way to slow them down while shaking off any potential rust from nearly a week off.

With the Dodgers offense rolling right now and the Phillies having nearly a week off, I expect Los Angeles to come out swinging and show this Phillies crowd why they’re the defending champs in Game 1.
