Game 2 of the NLDS picks up on Monday, and we are here with a Los Angeles Dodgers vs Philadelphia Phillies prediction. The Dodgers won Game 1, 5-3, thanks to another big shot by Teoscar Hernandez. It looks like the typical Dodger story: half the roster stays hurt all year, the team does well enough to win the division, then everyone shows up for the playoffs as they roll to victory. And here we are again with a loaded LA roster, forcing teams to come and take it if the champs are going to be dethroned. The way the Dodgers are playing right now, I have a hard time betting against them. Give me the Dodgers on the Money Line in Game 2.

The pitching matchup is a fantastic one, as Blake Snell and Jesus Luzardo take the mound. These two lefties faced off in the final days of the season, a game that LA won 5-0. Snell, who missed much of the season with injury, looks like he is in mid-season Cy Young form right now. He struck out 9 guys in 7 innings of 2-run baseball last week against the Reds, and he has been humming along for a while now. Luzardo, for his part, had a terrific season, turning in 18 quality starts. Ultimately, I suspect this game comes down to bullpens, and if Dave Roberts is going to use Glasnow and Sasaki in the back end, this Dodger team is going to be a nightmare to beat. Give me the Dodgers to win on Monday.
