Los Angeles Dodgers vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction, Odds and Picks for Tomorrow, 10/24/25
Dodgers vs Blue Jays Pickswise Expert Predictions
Looking to capture back-to-back World Series titles, the Los Angeles Dodgers travel north to Toronto to face the Blue Jays in Game 1. The Blue Jays haven’t appeared in a World Series since 1993 – the year they last won it all. This season, Toronto has been one of the most disciplined teams at the plate, leading the league with an impressive 21.6% whiff rate, compared to the Dodgers’ 25.8%. If the Blue Jays want to win Game 1, they’ll need that same patience and plate discipline against left-hander Blake Snell.
In the postseason, Snell has been electric – going 3-0 with a 0.86 ERA and a 0.52 WHIP. This will be his second start against the Blue Jays this year; back on August 9th, he threw five scoreless innings and struck out 10. For the Blue Jays, they’ll counter with Kevin Gausman who enters with a 2-1 record, 2.00 ERA, and a 1.06 WHIP. Gasuman has pitched well this postseason, but looking at his regular season numbers, he went 10-11 with a 3.59 ERA. In this matchup, the Dodgers have the advantage on the mound and a slight advantage at the plate, averaging 5.1 runs per game compared to the Blue Jays 4.9 this season. Based on Snell’s recent pitching performances, look for Los Angeles to get to Gausman early and take Game 1, making the Dodgers my best bet of the day.
