Los Angeles Dodgers vs Toronto Blue Jays Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 10/25/25

Here we have Game 2 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays. Last night, the Blue Jays won Game 1 after scoring 9 runs in the 6^th inning. On the mound today, we have Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Dodgers and Kevin Gausman of the Blue Jays. Both of these guys have looked great throughout the playoffs so far. Yamamoto has a 1.83 ERA giving up just 4 runs through 19.2 innings pitched. On top of that, Yamamoto pitched a complete game in his last start while only giving up 3 hits and 1 run to the Milwaukee Brewers. On the other side, Gausman has a 2.00 ERA through 18 innings pitched. The most impressive statistic for Gausman this postseason is that he has only given up 10 hits through those 18 innings. With both of these pitchers coming in at top form, it leads me to believe that the edge in this game will come elsewhere.

Outside of the starters, these are 2 bullpens that has struggled throughout the playoffs. The Dodgers bullpen has an ERA of 6.16 with a WHIP of 1.73. For the Blue Jays, their bullpen has a 5.33 ERA with a WHIP of 1.44. This means that both bullpens can be a liability in Game 2. Jumping to the hitting of these teams, the Dodgers are batting .224 while averaging 4 runs per game through their 5 away games of the playoffs. This is much different than the Blue Jays at home where they are batting .304 with 48 runs through 7 games. Additionally, the Blue Jays amassed 14 hits last night while scoring 11 runs. The Blue Jays also scored 5 of those runs against Blake Snell, who has been incredible this season. Overall, I suspect that the Blue Jays bats will stay alive and will make it another long night for the Dodgers pitching. I am taking the Blue Jays to get the win.
