Miami Marlins vs Arizona Diamondbacks Prediction, Odds and Picks for Friday, 06/27/25

The Marlins look to keep their hot bats rolling out West as they open a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Miami is coming off a sweep of the Giants, while Arizona took two of three from the White Sox. In tonight’s matchup, Eury Perez will get the start for the Marlins who enters tonight’s matchup 0-2 with a 6.17 ERA. He’ll be making his fourth start of the season, and in his last start against the Braves, he gave up three earned runs in 4.2 innings pitched.

For the Diamondbacks, Merrill Kelly will get the start who’s 7-3 with a 3.39 ERA. Kelly has been sharp lately, going 2-1 with a 2.25 ERA over his last four starts. Both teams come into this series winging the bat well, with Arizona averaging 5.6 runs per game over their last 12, while Miami is close behind at 5.1 over their last 13. When you look at the bullpens, Arizona’s has struggled all year, posting a 5.13 ERA compared to the Marlins who are slightly better with a 4.36 ERA. However, this matchup is going to come down to starting pitching and I trust Kelly way more than I do Perez. Kelly has proven he can go seven innings in a matchup, Perez has yet to throw five, which means we’re likely to see the Marlins bullpen enter early in tonight’s game. Taking everything into consideration, I think Arizona will win by two or more runs against Miami, making the Diamondbacks run line my best bet of the day.
