The Miami Marlins face the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday after taking Monday’s series opener by a score of 10-4. The Marlins continue to be one of baseball’s surprise teams in the first month. On Tuesday, the Fish hand the ball the Max Meyer. He will face Reynaldo Lopez. The last time we saw Lopez, he was throwing at Jorge Soler. Lopez managed to appeal his suspension in a way that he didn’t really miss a start, so here he is tonight. Altogether, this game sets up for the Braves, that that is how I am playing this one.

Meyer has been decent in his three starts, but his walks are way out of hand. His 15 walks in 3 starts have limited his innings, and at some point, they will lead to some crooked numbers. He has gotten away with it so far by facing bad, or at least cold, offenses, but the Braves are not that. Both bullpens are top 5 so far this season, but Atlanta didn’t use any of their high leverage arms on Monday, so that should swing the way of the Braves too. Overall, this one sets up for the Braves, and I will take them to win.
