The Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs are set to wrap up their five-game series this afternoon, and we’ve got your prediction right here! The Brewers entered this series as the hottest team in baseball with a chance to run away in the NL Central, but the Cubs had other plans. The Cubs have already taken three out of four games and will look to make it 4 straight as they send left-hander Shota Imanaga to the mound.  

On the season, Imanaga is 8-5 with a 3.06 ERA and 0.95 WHIP. He has had his ups and downs this year, and the last time he faced the Brewers back on May 4th, he picked up the loss, giving up 2 earned runs in 5.2 innings pitched. For the Brewers, they’ll counter with Quinn Priester who enters with a 11-2 record, 3.48 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. Priester has struggled in his last two starts, giving up 16 hits, 8 runs in 9.2 innings pitched. In each of these games, the Brewers have been in it, and I still think they’re the better team. The Brewers are batting .268 against lefties this season and I think they’ll get to Imanaga early in this one, picking up a much needed win.
