Milwaukee Brewers vs San Diego Padres Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/24/25

The Milwaukee Brewers and San Diego Padres will wrap-up their three-game series on Wednesday night as the Padres look to complete the sweep. Both teams have secured a spot in the postseason, however, the Brewers only hold a three-game lead for the best record in the National League. Taking the mound tonight for Milwaukee will be Chad Patrick who enters with a 3-8 record and a 3.66 ERA. 

For the Padres, they’ll counter with Dylan Cease who enters with a 8-12 record and a 4.64 ERA. Both pitchers have struggled this season, however, Cease has the slight edge in tonight’s matchup. Offensively, the Brewers have struggled to get things going after clinching a playoff spot, averaging 4.3 runs per game compared to the Padres 5.6. Taking everything into consideration, the Padres have been on a roll, and they should be able to complete the sweep with Cease on the mound before taking on a red-hot Diamondbacks team.
