Brewers vs Mariners Pickswise Expert Predictions
Our Milwaukee Brewers vs Seattle Mariners prediction takes us to the Great Northwest, where all eyes (and probably betting tickets) will be on the Brewers’ exciting young fireballer, Jacob Misiorowski. On Monday, the Brewers took the series opener to push their winning streak to 11 games. Not only that, but they also took over the lead in the NL Central with the Cubs losing. Yet despite the winning streak and their budding young ace on the mound, Vegas has installed the Mariners as the favorite. That seems curious, doesn’t it? And as of the time of this writing, something like 80% of the betting money is coming in on the Brewers at plus money, yet the line hasn’t moved. Put baseball aside; any time I see that happening, I am certain that Vegas knows something, so I am going with them. Give me the Mariners to win the game.
The Mis is a lot of fun on the mound. Whatever you think of him making the All-Star Game, he is good for baseball. He can throw triple digits, and he’s not going to let you string together hits. When teams score on him, it will be on the long ball. I also expect the Brewers to baby his innings and usage down the stretch, wanting him to be available for the postseason. So don’t get too carried away betting all his props every night. He will face Logan Gilbert, who hasn’t quite rounded into form this season, but we know full well what he can be. I want to bet the Brew Crew to keep this streak going, but this looks like a trap to me. I’m going with Seattle at home. The streak has to end sometime.
Brewers vs Mariners Prediction: Mariners ML (-125) available at the time of publishing. Playable at that number.
