New York Yankees vs Minnesota Twins Prediction, Odds and Picks for Today, 09/15/25

The New York Yankees will make their way to Minnesota to take on the Twins for a three-game series. The Yankees currently hold the top spot in the AL Wild Card standings, but they sit four games back in the AL East standings. Taking the mound for the Yankees in tonight’s matchup will be Carlos Rodon who enters with a 16-8 record and a 3.11 ERA. For the Twins, Simeon Woods Richardson will get the nod, entering with a 6-4 record and 4.58 ERA. 

The Yankees are 22-8 against the Twins since 2021, and I expect this trend to continue. Aaron Judge has been on fire, posting a 1.309 OPS with six homers and six RBIs over his last 13 games. When Rodon last faced the Twins back on August 12, he pitched seven innings of one-hit ball, allowing just one earned run and struck out five. Despite being on the road, I like Rodon and the Yankees in this spot. They still have a chance to win an AL East title and the Twins have nothing left to play for. Look for New York to get the job done tonight, making them my best bet of the day.
