The Los Angeles Dodgers will look to complete the sweep of the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 of the NLDS. Their offense has been on fire, and that’s bad news for any team standing in their way. Los Angeles has yet to lose a game this postseason, and has averaged 5.8 runs per game over their last 10 games. 

For the Phillies, their bullpen has been their downfall, blowing both games while posting a 7.11 ERA this postseason after a 4.25 ERA during the regular season. Offensively, Philadelphia is averaging just 3.3 runs per game in their last 10 – not nearly enough runs if they’re looking to compete against this Dodgers team. Taking the mound for the Dodgers will be Yoshinobu Yamamoto who is 1-0 with a 0.00 ERA this postseason. For the Phillies, Aaron Nola will make his first postseason start, but on the season, he went 5-10 with a 6.01 ERA. The Dodgers have the edge both on the mound and at the plate, and given Nola’s struggles this year, it’s hard to see him slowing down the Dodgers offense. Look for the Dodgers to complete the sweep and advance to the NLCS.
