The two top teams in the National League, the Philadelphia Phillies and Milwaukee Brewers, are set to square off on Monday afternoon. Since the All-Star break, no one has been better than these two teams – the Brewers own a league-best 29-13 record, with the Phillies close behind at 24-17. Both teams are on track to make the postseason, and today’s matchup could be an early preview of what we might see again in October.

Taking the mound for the Phillies will be Taijuan Walker who enters with a 4-7 record and 3.63 ERA. For the Brewers, Jacob Misiorowski will get the start, entering with a 4-2 record and 4.33 ERA. Offensively, both teams are averaging 4.6 runs per game over their last 10. This game will come down to pitching, and I think the Brewers have the slight edge with Misiorowski on the mound. Walker doesn’t typically go deep into the game, and the Phillies hold a 4.37 ERA on the season, which could be troublesome against this Brewers lineup.
